    2. Mysty McPherson
    3. Allene, this is a new one on me. I'm not aware of an Avey connected with an abstract office in Yellville, Marion Co, AR, in the late 1880s. Do you have any further information? There's quite a section about the Avey family in "Genealogies of Marion Co Families 1811-1900" published by the Genealogical Society in Marion Co, but neither of these names is in it. There's only one Avey family in Marion Co in the 1880 census and that's Henry. You really have my curiosity up now <?????> Mysty shakerag@mtnhome.com *********************************************** ----- Original Message ----- From: <apierceavey@yahoo.com> To: <ARSEARCY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, July 12, 2001 12:04 AM Subject: [ARSEARCY] Re: Avey > What town are your ancestors from? 1. [ARSEARCY] Re: Avey
    2. Hi Allene, I honestly don't know what towns. I was taking a long shot because so far most of my history has been found in Marion county and so I was trying the surrounding counties as well. Any information you have would be greatly appriciated and I will share what I have with you. It has been a while since I have gone through any of my paperwork but I will do so and let you know what I find when you reply... You can mail me at blitzchic18@yahoo.com and we can keep in a more direct contact if you would like. Thank You.

    1. [ARSEARCY] 1830 "Searcy Co" AR census link
    2. Searcy Co was formed about 1835 from Izard so folks living in what later became Searcy Co can be found in the 1830 Izard Co census which is posted at the Carroll Co AR site http://www.rootsweb.com/~arcchs/Census/1830/1830_Izard.html.
