Is there any connection to the Bakers that married into the Woods family and the families of Littleton Baker? I have a Sarah Eliz. Baker that married Elijah Woods and a Mary Matilda Baker that married Elisha Woods. Elijah and Elisha are twin brothers. Sarah appears to be the dau. of a John Baker and Laviney Unkn. Mary appears to be the dau. of William/Willis Baker. Any help and/or information, greatly appreciated. Carol Lay

I have Martha M. Cypert as married to Jesse Clemson Woods abt in 1867 in Searcy Co., Ark. Martha was b. abt 1846 in Tenn. the dau. of Jesse Newton Cypert Sr. I have no date of death for her, nor do I have a verification of her mother. Couldn't help but click on this message as I posted the original way back when. My oldest daughter's twin babies came 4 months early on October 4, 2004 ~ granddaughter Jordyn weighed 14 1/2 oz - 10 1/2 inches long, grandson Aidan weighed 1 lb 3 1/2 oz - 11 1/2 inches long ~ Jordyn was too small to make it ~ we lost her on October 20th, 2004, but as of this morning grandson Aidan is holding his own and doing well. It's not so much their birth weight, but how long they were inutero that helps the most. ~gina~ --- Edna Williams <[email protected]> wrote: > Thanks, I needed that!! Hi Edna, I know what you mean! Robert Bruce Cypert/Emily Catherine Baker's children are: Alabama; Arkansas; William Asa; Tennessee; Missouri; North West Territory "T"; New Jersey; and Arizona Cypert. Nieces and nephews of my Jeremiah Asa Baker, Jr and wife, Louisa Marian Norman; and also of Sophira Angeline Baker and husband, William Martin Norman. Baker bro. and sister, married Norman bro. and sister. These two Norman's are bro and sister to my grt. grandfather, William Albert "Ab" Norman who m. Matilda Jane Lawson. All are buried in Big Flat Cemetery, in Baxter County, AR, except for J. Asa Baker, Jr and wife, Louisa Marian (Norman) Baker, who are buried in Mtn. Home, AR. You know, I'm surprised--that out of the 18 children of William Lawson and Mahala (Mackey) Lawson (who are buried in Big Flat Cemetery) that there's no one researching this family! They married Norman's, Robison's, Rorie's, Sisk's, Treat's, and many others! Later-- Jerri I've got several "States Rights" in my database, too. What a name to name a child! But the Truly Grief George has these all beat, I think! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Edna Williams" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, October 31, 2004 2:58 PM Subject: Re: [ARSEARCY] Re: Passmore in Searcy County > Yes, the family group sheet gives his name as Wrong Passmore, that's like > some of the Cypert family > children are Tennessee, Missouri, North west Territory and several other > such names. > I can't imagine how some of these old timers got their names. > > Edna > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Jerri Ritter <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Saturday, October 30, 2004 10:09 PM > Subject: Re: [ARSEARCY] Re: Passmore in Searcy County > > > > Edna, > > > > Are you saying this man's name is Wrong Passmore? I wouldn't have put it past some parents! In my husband's family, there is a great aunt that married a T.G. George. When we finally discovered his name it was Truly Grief George! How could a parent do that to a child?! Edna: The FGS that I filled-out and entered "Wrong" Passmore is not a name! How this came about was I had entered someone name r and later learned it was incorrect.
