I also checked Mrs. Ruby Lacy's book on obituaries she did that start in 1902 and go to 1922. She isn't in this either. Do you have her marriage information? I did find it. The name is Colston and she and husband, W. H. age 26 from Una, were both from Van Buren County. She was Arkie Kesner age 22 of Una married on 08 Nov 1903 Book G page 125 Searcy Co. AR. I also checked the cemetery book from Van Buren County and didn't find her there. I'm not familiar with Van Buren County, so don't know here Una would be located. Lina

The book I would have gotten that information on is called the Bratton, Massey and .... families. My family is the Massey line which married the Tudors. But Paul Bratton and his descendents are in this book I feel sure. I don't have the book with me as I am in Afghanistan. However, I have my family tree database for a few hours a week. I can look it up soon I hope. The book would be invaluable for any research on the Bratton's of Searcy County Arkansas. I want to say that a Martha Bratton might have written it. That is if you have not already seen the compilation of info on the rose lineage done by Christine Rose.Most of what I know came from her hard work. I have additional info on the ties between the Rose's and the Whorley's called the "brothers war". I am seeking anything I can find for the same family line. In particular Paul Rose.His military and burial info. I do have some info on the two units he served in but excepting his name on rosters, it is mainly just general info on the units themselves. The info on the 45th militia in Sercey county at the outbreak of the war is very interesting. My cousin who works at UNY,NY has done extensive research on the Rose family to find his link through the Hilliard family, which he has done. Would love to share, Rick
