Henry & Elizabeth Mann Author: Gloria Mann Taylor Date: 16 Jul 2001 Board: Boards > Localities > North America > United States > States > Arkansas > Counties > Izard In response to this portion of your query: I would love to know where Henry and Elizabeth are buried and also what happen to my greatgranfather's siblings. Henry Mann's father was John W. Mann who married Letticia Simms. John W. Mann who married Letticia Sims. The John Mann who m. Letty Sims was as follows: Parents: Robert Page Mann (1733-1780), Phoebe Vaden (c. 1735-????) of Halifax Co., VA, their children: 1-Lucy Mann, 2-Sally Mann, 3- Agnes Mann, 4- Elizabeth Mann, 5- Patience Mann 6- Phebe Mann, 7- Polly Mann, 9- Joel Mann, 10- John Mann, 11- Robert Mann, 12- William Mann, 13- Francis Mann Some researchers have Robert Page Mann married to Phebe Chaffin, who may have been his 1st wife, however at his death his wife was Phebe Vaden. Robert was a Revolutionary Soldier and entitled to Bounty Land Their children Joel, John, Polly were minors when their father died and would be heirs to said Bounty Land. You state sister Lucy m. Jesse Nichols, my file has Joseph Nichols. John Mann married Letty Sims (or Letticia Simms) This is a very interesting family according to records in my research file. No doubt you have already made this connection. Kathleen. Contact me via email if you are interested.
