My husband had an aunt by marriage who was Jessie STEEN who married Arthur Rigney in Hamilton, Hamilton Co., TX probably in the early 1920's maybe earlier than that. We thought she was from Arkansas, but have no information on her at all, do know that they left Texas about 1940/45 went to Santa Ana, CA and worked in the airplane factories. The 16th North Arkansas Ancestor Fair will be held THIS Friday & Saturday in Marshall, Arkansas at the Civic Center. A good time will be had by all. I'm off Thursday evening to help set up. My niece, Whitney Holsted, is hoping to spend a few hours in the Marshall area sometime in the next two-three weeks. Her plans are not definite at this time. She would like to drive up through where the Welcome Home community is located. Is there any place locally where she can get a map of the area.
