    2. Grady and Carol Lay
    3. James was the son of Marcus Howard Hensley and Rebecca Simmons. He was sheriff of Wright County, Missouri in the 1870s. He married twice. First to an Elizabeth b. abt 1840 in Tennessee, then to an Ellen Keys/Keyes b. May 1848 in Tennessee. Am looking for information on the two wives and identification of the children for each. If anyone has information on James and his family, would appreciate hearing from them. I also want to take this opportunity to thank our list administrator, Ann McDonald and all of the subscribers who take the time to help with information or tips on how to proceed. We wish everyone a very Happy and Prosperious New Year and may all of your brickwalls come tumbling down! Best regards, Carol Lay
