Hi: I'm looking for the Johnson's that lived in Johnson and Scott Counties from about 1830 to 1900. My main brick wall is John H Johnson b. 1808 in KY; moved to Johnson County Ark about 1833 and to Scott County in the late 1850's. He died in 1866 and is buried at Waldron, Ark. His wife's maiden name was Mary Sweeden b. abt 1820 in TN, died 1895 in Scott County. I'm also looking for John H's son: James Elwood Johnson b. 1859 d. 1914 in Yell County. Any information relating to the Johnson's in those two counties would be greatly appreciated.
