    1. Re: [ARSCOTT] List of Persons and Property Assessed for Taxation inScott Cou...
    2. I have a lost relative. Well, he is lost to me: I am sure he knows exactly where he is. Anyway, he is Abraham Pool. Born 1834 in SC and died as a CSA soldier in 1863 in Little Rock AR. Married to Martha Jane Tidmore. They supposedly lived in the Packsaddle, Barber area of Scott County. I can find nothing on him. I find an Abraham H. Pool in the Civil War records but I don't think it is him. He may not be Abraham at all. All of the old family are buried in the Packsaddle Cemetery but a highline wire was put over the center of the abandoned cemetery and looks like a bulldozer has cleared stones right down the center. My distant grandfather Charles Stewart is on one edge of the clearing and Abraham's son is on the other side of it. I fear old Abe is unmarked now in the middle. His son was John Pool, born 1858 in Sebastian Co.AR. Anyone feeling lucky? I have no idea where to look any longer.
