Hi, I am trying to verify the following, and hopefully get more information on this family. Any help would be greatly appreciated. James W. Jones , Jr., born March 1864 in Scott County, Arkansas. He is first found in 1870 in the census of Hunt Twp with mother and stepfather. He is not found in 1880 census. He died at an unknown date after 1920. Place of death and burial is unknown. He married Nancy A/E. Morrow about 1881, presumably in Scott County Arkansas. They are found in the 1900 Scott County Census, Lamb Twp #151/151. I believe that Nancy A/E. Morrow may bethe sister of William Preston Morrow. I have no proof of this at this time. Nancy A. Morrow was born January 16, 1864 in Indiana and died May 23, 1927 in Scott County Arkansas. She is buried at Blackfork Cemetery (also known as Richmond Cemetery) The James W. Jones are found in Lamb Twp in 1900, Hickman Twp in 1910 and in 1920 are found in James Twp. James W. and Nancy A/E. (Morrow)Jones had the following children: a. George R. Jones, born February 1883 in Scott County Arkansas. He married Bessie Swan November 3, 1912 in Scott County Arkansas (Scott County Marriage Book "D", page 323). She was born about 1893 - 1894 in Kansas. b. John Hezekiah Jones, born March 25, 1884 in Scott County Arkansas and died June 10, 1951 in Scott County, Arkansas. He is buried at Friendship Cemetery He married Belle Martha Isabella Yandell August 9, 1903 in Scott County Arkansas (Scott County Marriage records Book C page 206). Belle Martha Isabella Yandell was born April 30, 1886 in Arkansas and died September 22, 1986 in Scott County, Arkansas. She is also buried at Friendship Cemetery. Her parents were John C. Yandell and Bose Anna Wagner. c. Mary L. Jones was born March 1886 in Arkansas. She was supposed to have married a Mr Pruitt at an unknown date between 1900 and 1910. She is found as a widow in the 1910 census. I am unable to find anything else about her. d. Jesse C. Jones, born October 1892 in Arkansas. He married Ola G. Brothers December 16, 1914 in Scott County Arkansas (Scott County Marriage Book "D", page 486). They are found in the 1920 census of James Twp #139/146 with one child, Clara age 1. Ola G. Brothers was born January 1898 in Arkansas. Her parents were John Louis Brothers and Mary E. Terry. See Dwelling #92/92 for details of the John Brothers family. e. Martha F. Jones, born February 1897; married Carroll Bingham August 31, 1912 in Scott County Arkansas (Scott County Marriage Book "D", page 307). Carroll Bingham was born 1895. f. Alice M. Jones, born about 1903 in Scott County Arkansas. She may have died before 1920 in Scott County Arkansas. I have no further record for her after the 1910 census. g. James W. “Jimmie” Jones III, born 1904; married Emma Lewis August 12, 1922 in Scott County Arkansas (Scott County Marriage Book "D", page 388). Emma was born about 1904.
