Grew up in Greene County Tennessee and married George Henderson there in 1820. Moved to Bradley County about 1848-1850. Listed in the 1850 census as living in Bradley County TN age 53. By 1860 George and his daughter Malinda are living in Hamilton Co, Tn, but Rachael is not listed on the Census. George died 1875 in Scott/Logan County Ar. (probably Booneville) Her Father was John Mauris and Mother was Martha Stephenson. John took the Oath of Office for Justice of the Peace of Greene County, Tennessee at the February term of court 1794 and served in that office for many years.His will, made 29 April 1828 in Greene County, named nine daughters, who were all married in Greene County,Tennessee.
