    3. Hi, I am hoping someone out there can help me. I was given a picture of MACK family it has 18 people in it also a hand written (2 pages) note telling who the people are. (below) This was sent to Wilbur Lawrence Mack (unknown when) Bill has now passed on and his widow does not know anything about the picture. This is my first hint of our MACK's before they came to California. My brickwall for 9 years. Can anyone give me any ideas where to go from here? "MACK" Photo Taken 1900 This picture was taken in the Spring of 1900 at Cauthron Ark. By Walker Smith who lived near Oliver, Ark Reading from left to right beginning with James (Jim) Hiram Mack, James (Ed) Edward Mack, Mrs. J.H. (Lucy Ada(Wood) Mack,) Cla--d Richard Mack, at his mother's left and next to Cla--d, Bessie B(u)ck, Frankie (Mack) Buck's daughter, with her hand on Hiram Harrison Mack and to his left "Granny" Mack, Stepmother to his children and behind her W. W. (Billy) Mack and his left and in his arm's is Lena (Mack) left and to Lena's left is her mother Di(x or C) ie Mack and to her left is Jrankie (Mack) Buck, and in front of Lena is Di(x or c) ie and to "Granny" Mack, left is Otto and Dilbert Buck, Frankies boys by her first marriage, Just below Di(x or c)ie and Frankie is Bill Mack, Billy, and Di(x or c) ie son, the two little girl in front of Frankie are her stepchildren (second marriage name is Hudson) to Frankie's left is Maggie (Mack) Wood, and below and in front of Maggie is Harry Mack her brother. Authur Francis Mack born 1903 son of Jim and Lucy Mack and Alfred Mack son of Billy and Di(x or c)ie Mack born 1903 after this picture was taken. All but one of this picture had passed on, James (Ed) Edward Mack, is all that left. Hiram Harrison Mack, Andrew, Frankie, Billy and Jim came through in a covered wagon from Charleston, Ill crossing the Mississippi river at St Louis, MO on ice and that's where Andrew left them returning to Charleston after working on the river for some time the rest came on, they lived in and around Old Hartford Ark, and at one time Hiram Harrison Mack ran That was all of the note.
