Hi! I am searching for ELIZABETH HUNT..... She was married to RANSOM HUNT(6-11-1836). He was killed by bushwalkers while at home on leave from the Civil War. She is listed in the 1880 Scott Co. census as Elizabeth Willis head of the family and their children also are named WILLIS instead of HUNT as they were in 1860. My question is this her maiden name or did she remarry and that husband die too? Any help would be great!! This might help, their children were: Mary Frances Martha A. Isabel Nancy C. Gerge B.
