Hello, all - To Richard Hollis' very good advice I would like to add my two cents' worth: What would your reaction be if you lost every single one of your e-mail files???? How many months or years of research would you lose? Soooo - when was the last time you backed up all of your e-mail correspondence to a separate floppy or other storage medium? I know I would be devastated if I lost my e-mail files, yet when you least expect it, it could easily happen. A lightening strike, a trashed-out hard drive, a well-meaning friend who wants to "tweak up" your system, a virus...you never know. Take a few minutes and either do a backup or get a hard copy (a printout) of your important e-mails. And as a corollary to Richard's advice - you never know when something will become important in your research! Happy hunting.................... Nancy Parnell np@staffnet.com
