Hi all, I've just added some of the local news from a Scott Co. newspaper, The Wasp, for 22 April 1904 to the Scott Co. webpage at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~arscott/scott.htm If you're interested in reading this information, the link to it is the last link under "Scott County Research Links." I've not quite finished transcribing all the local news from this issue of the newspaper, but hope to do the rest of it tomorrow. As I get time I'll either add more issues or do another issue and change it; it may be too long a document to leave more than one at a time on the webpage. During this time period in Scott County, "The Wasp" was being published and I believe at the same time another newspaper "The Waldron Advance," was also being published. We have only scattered issues of these older newspapers on microfilm we've bought form the Arkansas History Commission. This particular microfilm is one of my own. "The Wasp" was a rather political newspaper and a lot of their news was about politics, local, state and national. Since I find politics, both then and now, quite boring, I will probably copy little of that type of information. <g> Hope you'll enjoy this and that some of you will find a familiar name or two. As I get time, I'll try to reformat it so it's a little easier to read. Delaine
