Hello Delaine, Guess it may pay to reread items. Looking back at a copy of some pages from an Index to the Tract Books for Searcy County (don't worry I will connect down a little further to Scott County....smile...), I noticed an entry for William A. Hughlis in 1867; Sec 33; Twp 16; Rge 14. This may very well be my William Allen Hollis which I am still looking for between 1850 where he is in Stoddard County, Missouri and 1870 where he is in Scott County, Arkansas. Tomorrow I will go to the library and see what I can find by that spelling. In the same tract book I see the House surname as well. Richard Hollis Tomball, Texas
