Greetings all. I have volunteered to make the journey to 2 of the graveyards where my ancestors are buried in Scott county to record all of the names there for the Genweb Tombstone Transcription Project. The two graveyards I am to go to are Egypt Cemetery and Hunt Cemetery both just outside of Waldron Arkansas. I am wondering if anyone knows of any possible records already existing on these Cemeteries or any idea of who to ask about it. I have visited these two places once before and noticed many graves only marked with numbers and many whos headstones are already so old that they are unreadable. I am prepared to go there soon and do my best but thought I should see if there was a historical society or someone that I should go to for information first.
