Several people have requested the recipe so thought I'd post it: Mrs. Starr's Sugar Cookies 4 eggs (or 3) 2 cups sugar 1 cup shortening 3 tps baking powder 2 tps vanilla 1/2 cup of sweet milk pinch salt enough flour to make soft dough. roll out on to wax paper. - ----------------------------------------------------------------- I never could make them well myself because I couldn't figure out how much flour was enough! I think about 2 cups. The above is what I wrote as my grandma gave it me from her memory. She probably used a coffee cup to to cut round shapes I'd bet as I don't recall her having regular measuring cups, spoons or cookie cutters, but she was a really good cook. The sweet milk just refers to regular homogenized milk. Barbara
