    3. Barbara, Dutch Creek, in my earliest surviving newspaper articles there was a DUTCH CREEK MASONIC LODGE No. 267, F. & A. M. in early 1879. Some Early members metioned John H. Millard and Jasper N. Hill (Obits), A.A. Sanford, M.B. Havener, J.J. Jackson. In the early Papers Dutch Creek Township and Dutch Creek Valley are constantly in the news, so must have been a fairly thriving area.
