    1. IVEY/SESSIONS/LOCKLEAR/SHEARHART families from Illinois to Arkansas
    2. C. Holland
    3. Hi! I am hoping that someone can help me with the following families: Sally IVEY, b: Bef 1820 Illinois, perhaps Union County, married Conrad SHEARHART 3/13/1833 Union County, Illinois. They had at least one son, Martin SHEARHART born about 1836 in Illinois. I found Martin in Scott County, Arkansas in the 1850 census living with Elijah IVY, who may be the brother of Sally Ivey. Eliza IVEY, b: Abt 1812 in Tennessee, later moved to Illinois, Union County, I think; married John LOCKLEAR who was born about 1807 in Tennessee, later moved to Illinois They were married 5/24/1831 Union County, Illinois. The Locklear family is found in Scott County, Arkansas in 1850, near the Elijah Ivey family. She also may be a sister to Elijah. Elijah IVEY, born Abt 1815 in Illinois, perhaps Union County; died Bef 1860 in Arkansas. He married Mary SESSIONS Bef 1837 in Illinois. The father of the above may have been a Joseph Ivey. Mary SESSIONS was born Abt 1822 in Alabama, evidently moved to Illinois where she and Elijah met and married. She died Bef 1860 in Arkansas. Mary SESSIONS and Elijah IVEY had the following children: i. Sarah Ivey, born Abt 1837 in Illinois. ii. Lucinda Ivey, born Abt 1839 in Arkansas. iii. Elizabeth Ivey, born Abt 1841 in Arkansas. iv. Nancy Ivey, born Abt 1843 in Arkansas. v. Anna Louisiana Ivey, born 1845 in Arkansas; died 3/15/1920 in Nola, Scott County, Arkansas. vi. Missouri Ivey, born Abt 1847 in Arkansas. vii. Lydia Ivey, born Abt 1849 in Arkansas. Debora C. Sessions, born Bef 1828 in Illinois(?). She married Wiley Davis 2/18/1841 in Union County, Illinois. She may have been the sister of Mary SESSIONS. There was also a brother, James SESSIONS, who was found in Scott County, Arkansas in the 1850 census. I would appreciate any information on this family. Thanks so much. Charlene
