Those of you who have visited the Scott Co. Historical & Genealogical Society may be interested to know that our officer and volunteer Winona Blalock had surgery on Sunday for a broken hip. If any of you who know Winona would like to send a card or a note of encouragement to her, the address is: St. Edward Mercy Medical Center 7301 Rogers Ave. Winona Blalock, Room 3525 Fort Smith, AR 72903 Winona and her sister Winna are the two volunteers who keep the Society's building open on Monday and Thursday afternoons and have also made themselves available to many of our visitors at other times. Winona contributes a tremendous amount of work to the Society and we will miss her and hope she'll soon be back! Delaine
