Hi all: I'm still searching for any information on the BARNETT's living in Scott Co. in 1870 and 80. Lucinda BARNETT b. 1856 in Ga. She was the daughter of Thomas BARNETT b.1832 in NC. Narcissis his wife was b.1828 in N.C. I have no info on her. They also had a son James BARNETT b. 1861 in Ar. This has been a most elusive part of our family. Lucinda married a Franklin W. STATON. In 1870 STATON's and BARNETT's were found living next door to one another when Franklin and Lucinda were teenagers. I have a large oval framed potrait of Lucinda hanging on my wall. She was widowed quite young and later married a man by the name of WHITEHEAD and had several children by him. Any information you can give me on the BARNETT family would be much appreciated.
