    1. WILLIAM P. MORROW
    2. G. Holland
    3. Hi all! I may have posted this information before but thought it wouldn't hurt to do it again. I am currently writing a history of my family and have been searching for the parents of my great-grandfather, William P. Morrow. The following is pretty much all I have about his background. WILLIAM P. MORROW was born about 1857/58 somewhere in Indiana. Both of his parents were born in Indiana, too (according to the 1900 census.) I do not have any information about his parents, other than there may have been a daughter by the name of NANCY A. MORROW who married JAMES W. JONES (the brother of Melvina Jones, the wife of William) in Scott County, AR. There may also have been a son, who had a son by the name of ISAAC MORROW. WILLIAM P. (1857/58-1929) came to Scott County, sometime in the early 1880s and married MELVINA JONES (1860-1934), sister of the above James W. Jones. William and Melvina had five children: 1. FRANKLIN I.C. MORROW (1882-?) who married MILLIE JONES, and later moved to Harlingen, Texas. He had at least one son, RAY (or ROY) MORROW, who married a woman named VIVIAN. 2. ALICE C. MORROW (1884-?), who married a man named HALE 3. BENJAMIN ALLEN MORROW(1888-1974) (my grandfather), who married OLLI C. HARRIS (1891-1961). They had seven children, a. GENEVA(1908-1910) b. JOSIE(1910-1911) who both died as small children, c. CHARLES MATTHEW MORROW (1912- ) (my father), who married NANCY EDITH PHILLIPS(1919- )of Newton County, AR. d. CLIFTON (KIP) MORROW (1915-1985), who married IMOGENE BEYARD. e. ONEIDA MORROW (1917- ), who married RAYMOND NEIGHBORS. f. BILL MORROW (1919-1985), who married PAULINE JONES. g. ROBERT BRUCE MORROW (1928-1970) who married NETTIE GEAN DUKE. 4. LUELLA MORROW (1886-?), who married ALBERT JOSLIN. They had two children that I know of: ELLA and GLADYS JOSLIN. 5. MARY MORROW (1892-?) who married a man named MITCHELL, I don’t know where William (he was called Bill, I believe) Morrow lived before he came to Arkansas. I know that his son, Frank, eventually moved to Harlingen, Texas, so it may be that he lived in Texas before he came to Scott County. If you have any information that may be of help, or know of someone who may be connected to my family I would appreciate you letting me know. Thank you so much. Charlene 8)
