Hello, I have been trying to do reseach (with must frustration) in Arkansas, Scott Co, for the records of my Father's family. The surnames that I am look for are: STANSBERRY, AYNES, CAMPBELL, MATTHEWS. My G-mother was Genevia Stansberry, she married Dave Campbell in 1926 in Wright City Ok (this is doc.), and was born Possibly in BLACK FORK ARK,SCOTT CO. in 1910 (Nov). She attened school in Wright City Ok from one 1926 school census.We have not been able to find her birth in any records. Athough I did find her Father JAMES STANSBURY and his wife CATHERINE and son DEWEY on the 1910 SCOTT CO. BLANSETT TWSP. >From this report they had been married 3 years aprx 1907. I have been unable to find this record also. Or Catherine's maiden name (possibly Indian). . I have No info on Jame's parents. After the death of Catherine the children were raised by another family possibly MATTHEWS, until they were old enough to go back to the father. Some where in this Genevia attended a Cathlic / Indian / Missionary? school. Jame's occupation was a mill hand on the 1910 censas what kind I have no Idea. He may have died in Lindsy Pauls Valley in the mid 30's but once again I have not been able to find any record of this. I have gotten to a stand still and I am not sure where to look next and am so far away (Washington state) that It is hard to know. Any help you may have would be woulderful. Thank you. VICKY LE FAVE
