I was interested to read Bryan Fuxa's synopsis of the messages that he received in reference to his query about Bushwackers. I would like to know if anyone has information on Jayhawkers? I have a letter supposedly written by my great-grandmother. Her entire family was traveling from Arkansas to Matoon IL during the Civil War, being pursued by "Jayhawkers".
