Shirley: I've got the stupid flowers in the ground. It is clouded up to rain here, too, and if we will only get a light rain. They will be o.k. I still have to water the potted plants and the cat. My mother has my children with her and for some reason is frantically cleaning her house. She has FINALLY agreed to go with me to Arkansas because she is trying to avoid being a hostess. This trip has fallen through several times over the past ten years. If I'd know this was all it took to get her to go I'd have invited company to see her long ago. The kids are helping their grandmother. My son is relived that I'm coming today. I already told him that I'm not motivated to get there before bedtime and to keep cleaning!! I've already grabbed the Walker files and thrown them in a box to take with me. Armstead Walker's name caught my eye in the file. I don't remember what I have on him. I remember stalking a Byrd Walker all over the place. Does he tie in? Also I caught sight of a 52 year old Calvin Walker over in Sebastian Co., ARK on the 1850/60 (?) census...I had just made the notation that there was a Ward family living next door to him. Got to remember to grab the camera! Going to go grab some lunch before I tackle the watering. kathy ------------------------------
