Delaine, Thanks so much for sending the address over the list. I already had info. on my Gr. Gr. Grandpa Morgan Pierce (listed as Pearce in civil war) being in the civil war, but was nice to see who else from Waldron signed up in Feb. 1862. Morgan was in Dawson's 19th (confederate), but my Gr. Gr. Uncle Tom Jamerson (Jaminson in civil war record) was in the Union Ark. 2nd Cavalry. While scanning the list where Morgan Pearce is listed with Dawson's 19th Co. H, I ran across the name Theodore Salvater who also signed up at Waldron on Feb. 22, 1862 age 22, captured Jan. 11,1863 at Arakansas Post, AR. My question is does anyone have any connection to him? My Gr. Gr. Grandpa Morgan named his youngest son Salvader Theodore Pierce b. July 1871, but his nickname was Vade. I've got to think this is such an unusual name, either the Theodore Salvater in Dawson's 19th was a best friend of my Gr. Gr. Grandpa, or maybe related to him somehow? Does the name sound familiar to anyone?
