I grew up in Hodgen,Oklahoma. There was several Kelley/Kelly families in the area. My Great grandfather on my mother's side was Glidewell who lived in Sebastian County. I left area in 1943 for the service, returned 1946 got married 1947 and my wife and I moved to Tyler,Tx and raised our family and my wife passed away two years ago after 66 years together. You must have served in the military during WW2. Loyd E. Watson Sent from my iPad > On Oct 7, 2015, at 3:18 PM, Harold A. Kelley via <[email protected]> wrote: > > Nice to hear from you! Hello to anyone named Metcalf in Scott County. I'm supposedly related to you via my paternal grandmother. I'm asking a railroad related question. I'm wanting to know if anyone knows of any old railroad cars(perhaps a caboose or old passenger car) in Scott County, that is not on the rails and is being used for other purposes. Maybe even an old railroad related building. These things end up out in cow pastures, used as barns, lawn ornaments, playhouses, hunting or fishing camps, you name it. Thanks for any info. In the 1900 Census two children (found so far) of Monroe & Sarah Riddle are living as adopted by two other families of Warren Monroe Riddle. Both in Yell County, but later this family lives in Scott County, Arkansas. I found Minnie Riddle living with Daniel Victor & Sarah James. Son Redmon is living with Benjamin and Mary Daniel. By 1910, the Riddle family is living together again in Scott County, Arkansas. Any ideas what was happening to the family in this ten year period (1900-1910)? Thanks, Barbara Hale Reynolds
