    3. Hi, I am looking for information about David Newton Terry who was born in Scott County, Arkansas. Following is what I think I know about this man. I would appreciate any additons or corrections on this family. Thanks so much. 1. David Newton Terry, born April 1877 in Scott County Arkansas He was the son of George Washington Terry and Sarah Ann Elizabeth Wilson Welch Terry. He married (1) Ada A. (Addie Artela) King November 8, 1896 in Scott County Arkansas by Thos N. Watkins, M.G. (Source: Scott County Marriage Book B, page 327. He was 19; she was 19 and they were both from Gipson.). She was the daughter of Thomas and Barshaba King . He married (2) Carrie Bacum/Bacom February 27, 1906 in Scott County Arkansas (Source: Scott County Marriage Book C, Page 432, he was 27, she was 20 and they were both from Bates.). He married (3) Bessie Wall May 21, 1921 in Scott County Arkansas (Source: Scott County Marriage Book E, page 314. He was 41 of Heavener, LaFlore County, Oklahoma and she was 23 of Bates, Scott County.). Children of David Terry and Ada King are: i. George Rufus Terry, born September 1897 (Source: 1900 Scott County Census, Lafayette Twp #55/56 at age 2.); married Lillie Riggs July 29, 1919 in Scott County Arkansas (Source: Scott County Marriage Book E, page 177. He was 21, she was 18 and they were both from Weeks.). ii. William H. (Albert?) Terry, born January 1900 and may have died before 1910. iii. Maude Irene Terry, born Abt. 1902; married Frank Riggs November 26, 1920 in Scott County Arkansas (Source: Scott County Marriage Book E, page 277. He was 23, she was 18 and both were from Bates.). Children of David Terry and Carrie Bacum/Bacom are: i. Obert Earl Terry, born December 6, 1906 in Scott County Arkansas; died October 17, 1907 in Scott County Arkansas, buried at Weeks Cemetery (Source: Scott County Cemetery book, page 373 gives both birth and death date.). ii. William Archie Terry, born Abt. March 1907 in Scott County Arkansas; died March 17, 1911 in Scott County Arkansas (Source: Scott County Cemetery book, page 373 gives his age as 3 years, but he is not listed in the 1910 census record. This child may be the twin to Lillie A., but don't know for sure.). iii. Lillie A. Terry, born Bet. 1907 - 1908; died May 17, 1911 (Source: Scott County Cemetery book, page 373 gives age at death as 2 years, 10 months and 5 days. Like her brother, William Archie, she does not appear in the 1910 census.). iv. Minnie Parthenia Terry, born Abt. 1909 (Source: 1910 Scott County Census, Lafayette Twp #25/25 at age 1.). v. Lucy Belle Terry, born Abt. 1910 (Source: 1910 Scott County Census, Lafayette Twp #25/25 at age 9 months.). vi. Lloyd Terry, born November 25, 1912.Twin to Lois vii. Lois Terry, born November 25, 1912. viii. Aaron Doyle Terry, born October 15, 1915 in Scott County Arkansas; died November 1984. Children of David Terry and Bessie Wall are: i. I have not been able to find them again. I have found John in Sebastian Co. 1880 census with wife Mary Anna Obar; he is also in the 1900 Crawford Co., census. Any help will be appreciated.
