    3. I am still the Listowner of this mailing list and I do not appreciate your rudeness to the subscribers. Any way these folks wish to post their surnames is fine with me; if you are too busy to read the Email that has "Roll Call" as the Subject I suggest you either switch over to Digest format or unsubscribe from the list while it's this active. 3. Hi I read somewhere an easy way to figure how you can tell the birthdate of someone if it tells their age on a headstone as so many years months and days old, ie: 2 years 10 months and 5 days old when they died. I have lost that message. Does anyone know how to do that? Charlene

    1. Alley-Moss
    2. Rick, Carla & Kyra Brigance
    3. Melissa Jane ALLEY was born April 1877 in Pike Co., KY to Martin and Sarah (MAYNARD) ALLEY. Melissa married William T. MOSS, son of John O. and Mary C. MOSS in Scott Co. on 02 Feb 1903. The 1920 census lists Melissa as a widow. Supposedly, William T. Moss died 20 Oct 1913 and was buried in Chant Cemetery in Y-City, Scott Co., AR. It appears William and Melissa had the following three children: 1) Jesse F. born about 1904, 2) Eva E. born about 1907, and 3) Orpha M. born about 1911. 1. Where were William & Melissa residing in 1910? I cannot find them listed on the 1910 Scott Co. census. 2. Was William really buried in Chant Cemetery? I cannot find a stone although there are several unmarked graves. 3. Did Melissa remarry? 4. Did Melissa & her children move from Scott Co. after 1920? If so, to where? If anyone has further information or corrections for this family, please contact me. I would appreciate your help. Carla

    3. I am still trying to locate anyone with knowledge of the James Lewis Williams b 1836 and Lou Effie Butler b 1837 family listed in the 1880 Scott County census in Lafayette Twp. Their children were Nathan, John Thomas, Sarah F., James R., Ethel, Ella, Samuel and George. Nathan married Cordelia Smith, probably Indian Territory. Ella married Fred Werli, son of Barbara who homesteaded in Scott County. Ethel married John Stevens. Lou Effie died 1902 and is buried in the Weeks Cemetery. Date of James' death unknown nor is burial site known. No marker exists beside Effie at Weeks. Any information appreciated. Betty
