    2. Betty Davis
    3. I wonder if any of the BUTLER families descendents listed in the Scott County census of 1900-1910 are related to Effie Butler Williams, wife of James Lewis Williams who came to Scott County with their family in time for the 1880 census. Effie was born 1837 died 1902 and is buried at Weeks Cemetery as are many of the Williams family.

    3. The Search Engine on the webpage is now working again. Everything should be picked up by it now except a few queries that were just added to the page this morning. The indexer goes through about every two weeks so anything new won't be picked up until then. Delaine Edwards County Coordinator Scott County ARGenWeb http://www.rootsweb.com/~arscott/scott.htm

    3. Hi All, Those of you who have visited the Scott Co ARGenWeb page the last few days may have noticed the Search Engine is not working. I don't know what the problem is but it isn't specific to Scott Co., evidently none of the counties on Rootsweb are working. I plan to give it one more day, then will probably temporarily remove it from the webpage. The Scott Co Archives Search Engine is still working. 2. Charlene Holland
    3. Hi I am looking for information about the Gallimore family of Scott County. There were two brothers, I believe. Ernest and Eustice Gallimore. Was their mother Fannie Gallimore who may have married a Wayne Harland? Who was their father? Eustice Lee Gallimore was born September 17, 1873 in Alabama. He married (1) Della Smith November 20, 1892 in Scott County Arkansas He married (2) Mary Ella about 1899 - 1900. I think Eustice had the following children Children of Eustice Gallimore and Della Smith may have been: i. Bertie O. Gallimore, born August 1892 ii. Viola Gallimore, born April 1896 iii. Ernest Gallimore, born 1898; died July 26, 1898 in Scott County Arkansas, buried at Freedom Cemetery. Children of Eustice Gallimore and Mary Ella are: i. Ola Gallimore, born about 1900 ii. Nora Gallimore, born December 24, 1900; died March 23, 1904 in Scott County Arkansas, buried at Freedom Cemetery. iii. Annie May Gallimore, born January 1, 1902; died April 30, 1902 in Scott County Arkansas, buried at Freedom Cemetery. iv. Johnnie Lee Gallimore, born March 15, 1905 in Scott County Arkansas; died March 6, 1968 in Scott County Arkansas, buried at Freedom Cemetery. vi. Pearley Lee Gallimore, born April 10, 1910; died June 10, 1911 in Scott County Arkansas, buried at Freedom Cemetery. vii. Clara Gallimore, born about 1913 (Source: 1920 Scott County Census, Tomlinson Twp #12/12 at age 7.). Ernest L. Galimore, the other son of Fannie Gallimore, was born about 1872 in Alabama. He married L.M. Monroe September 25, 1892 Scott County Arkansas. What happened to him? Did he move to Oklahoma. Did he go by the name of Coleman? Fannie Gallimore was born April 28, 1853 in Alabama, and died October 28, 1886 in Scott County Arkansas. She is buried Parks Cemetery at Nola. Was she married to a man named Coleman? She married Wayne Albert Harland between 1880 - 1886. They may have had the following children. Dora Harland who married a Sam Hawthorn Ethel Harland who married a Walter Johnson Fletcher Harland Born: September 28, 1886 and died about November 1886 in Scott County Arkansas. he is buried Parks Cemetery at Nola. He was 2 months old when he died. Any help would be appreciated. Charlene

    1. John T. Jones and Sallie Taylor
    2. Charlene Holland
    3. Hi I am looking for information about the John T. Jones family found in the following census record. Scott County Census, James Twp #109/109, living "next door" to his brother, Andy Jones. John T. Jones Hd Feb 1879 21 M/2 AR AR AR Sallie Wf Jan 1872 18 1/1 AR AR AR William J. S Sep 1899 10/12 AR AR AR He was the son of William H. Jones and Nancy E. Rogers. He is first found in the 1880 Scott County Census, ED 169 of LaFave Twp #191 at the age of 3. John married Sallie Taylor May 29, 1898 in Scott County Arkansas (Scott County Marriage Book B, page 403.) I believe that Sallie Taylor may have been the daughter of Joseph Taylor, Sr. and Judah Lou Moore who were living in Dwelling #110 of this same census. Sallie and John Jones had the one child in the above census: William J. Jones, born September 1899. I cannot find any further record of this family. Did they move to Oklahoma, as others in their family did? If so, where? What happened to them? Did they have more children? Who were they? I am also looking for information about the Joseph Taylor, Sr. family. Was Sallie their daughter? Any information about this family would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much Charlene

    3. Hi fellow researchers. Everybody staying cool? I wonder if a monument company or funeral home is still in business in Scott County who could have supplied a stone at the Weeks Cemetery perhaps later than 1902 but I am looking for information on Effie Butler Williams, buried at Weeks Cemetery, b 30 Oct. 1837 d 28 December 1902 and, date of death for James Lewis Williams b Jan. 1836 date of death not known. If he is buried at Weeks beside Effie, no marker exists. Any information appreciated. Betty
