Crows Station was north of Paron Arkansas on Highway 9 in the northern part of Saline County. Jasper Crow owned 160 acres in Township 2-N Range 18W section 30. The local legend is that there was a narrow gauge railroad track for hauling lumber that ran north of Paron and the railroad stop was called Crow's Station. There was also an Ellie Crow who lived in the vicinity. I do not know any of these people, just information from a book I have and an old timer's memory. I would imagine it is derived from the Crow family who lived near the area and are buried in Fowler Cemetery in Saline County.
