Mathew Lemons was born of Moses and the Ferguson woman. At one time Moses had one slave which I suspect was a gift from his inlaws. The spelling of the Lemons name varies so often that one has to check on all the different spellings . Andrew Jackson Lemons was in Dallas Co., AR. in 1860. He was ( I think ) in the civil war but to date I haven't found what Unit he was with. He is listed on the BLM land records for Dallas county AR.
