Last fall I discovered through the 1910 York Co, SC census that my relative Harvey Lemons listed his father's (James) birthplace as Ireland--so I know who my immigrant is; however, I still believe James is Moses's son by the first wife and need definite proof. Also, from an Irish website I learned that US President Andrew Jackson's family was from northern Ireland and you know that they settled in SC near our relatives. What about a connection between them and Andrew Jackson (A. J.) Lemons? Thank you for replying and if you learn anymore I would appreciate hearing from you.
