I can imagine it was rough then. It was rough when Jeremiah was alive. I wonder if ny of his family was in the area as well. There are alot of Rowland/Roland members in Arkansas. There is a Rowland Cemetery in Boone county. There is actually a town called Roland Arkansas not far from Conway. I can't find much history on it though. And of course I wish I knew where to turn to figure out the G.W. mystery. The family I have spoken too remember their parents as saying he was a very quiet and private man that just didn't talk about his family. I don't know why. My cousin has his family Bible and he does not record any family history in it. I think I have some old photos of G.W.
