But I think they came from Alabama, originally. I know my great-great-great grandfather, Little Page Rowland, was born in 1817 in Alabama. He and his wife, Vesta Ann McPherson had William Granville Rowland, b. 04 July 1849, Saline County, AR; and William and his wife, Sarah Ann Delilah Williams had Laura Jane Rowland. Interesting to note that my great-great-great grandmother was Vesta Ann McPherson, for many of my relatives (Miller, Morgan and Rowland) are buried in the McPherson Cemetery (Sardis) in Saline County.
