I don't think that Emeline ever married after Jeremiah's death because she is still listed on the census records as Emaline Roland. In the 1878 date she is listed as Emaline Rolen after being transferred to Union Valley. This is after Prudence Langley is listed as "having departed this life July 10, 1878." Lena Hoggard (spelling in the book) is listed as being transfered to Union Valley Church at the same time as Emaline. Lena is Emaline's daughter. Saying all that to say, I don't see any records that Emaline ever married anyone named Sims. I do think that George Washington is her son. I don't know the account of his conception, so don't know who his father could be as Jeremiah has already died. I am very interested to know who George's father is as I know you are, too. When I was last at the Arkansas Hisory Commission Library, I found an obituary in the Arkansas Gazette, Nov. 16, 1941, of Rev. Jeff D. Rowland. Among other survivors it lists a brother G. W. Roland of Kaufman, Tex. I think that is your G.W. Roland. I could copy the obituary here for you if you are interested.
