I have a copy of J.J. Langley and Prudence Cobb's marriage license filed March 6th, 1860. On this license, "Ezekiel Hogue, an ordained Minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church South performed the marriage on the 15th of Feb, 1860." as stated in the marriage license, in Saline County, Ark. Prudence Langley and Emeline Roland were both members of the Oakland United Methodist Church in Faulkner Co., after moving from Saline Co., so, hopefully there would be some family records to be found in Saline Co., if a Methodist Episcopal Church South was in existence there between 1850-1870.
