His brother Thomas Rowland married her sister Elizabeth Betsy Sims. Both couples married in Ala. or Ms. Territory actually in 1813 before Ala. became a state. The Rowlands moved to Saline Co. in the 1840's. Their grand daughter, Margaret Josephine Rowland married George Alex. Owens in Tx. in 1866. These name combinations may just be a coincidence.
