When I was there in 2005, I was informed that the developers would not mess with the cemetery and that was the reason the land had not been cleared and leveled. I am not a Kirkpatrick descendant but the land where the cemetery is located once belonged to my 2great-grandfather, John Alfred Medlock, who bought the land from Paisley Kirkpatrick's heirs.
