I'm hoping somebody has some information on my Isaac Anderson and his wife Julia Ann Foute. They came from Cass and Floyd Counties, GA between 1850 and 1860. They were listed in the 1860 Saline County census in 1860. Living with them were Jacob, age 20, Cornelias J, 17, and Hannah, 14. This is a copy of a land record for him: Land record: 10/1/1860 No. 12517 Whereas Isaac Anderson of Saline County, Arkansas has deposited in the general land office of the United States, a certificate of the register of the land office at Little Rock whereby it appears that full payment has been made by the said Isaac Anderson. Act of Congress of the 24th of April, 1820 entitled, "an act making further procision for the sale of the Public Lands" for: The SouthEast quarter of the SouthEast quarter of Section five in Township six South of Range thirteen West in the District of Lands subject to sale at Little Rock, Arkansas containing 40 acres. ======= I think they lived in the area called Cherry Grove.
