I have in my posession the Blythe framily Bible that was damaged by the Galveston hurricane of 1900 thet reached Brenham, Texas, Washington County. Some of my work notes include: The 1860 Washington County Texas Census lists on line 11 page 171 lists this illegible name as a male 12 years of age born in Texas. The name does not appear in the family Bible. Could be "Fritz". The June 26, 1880 Washington County, Texas, Census, ED 140, sheet 43, line 3, Dwelling 461, Family 388; indicates that C. F.Blythe was born in Texas. He was 32 before June 1, 1880, was a Farmer. Wife Sarah and sister Sallie Ophelia were in the household. Children Mary, Joe, Jessie, Emma and Maggie were present. The June 5,1900 Williamson County, Texas Federal Census, Enumeration District 129, Precinct 4 indicates that C. F. was a farm laborer who had been at this job for 6 months, was born in May 1849, was 31 and was a widdower. At this time he was working in the same county as his sister Jo Blythe who was married. Sarah J.'s surname was Harrison. I believe that C. F. was called Fitsauna. I have the children listed as being Mary, Emma, Joe, Jessie and Maggie. Csall me at 1-800-269-1927, San Antonio, Texas, so we can talk about the relationship.
