I stumbled across this because my stepson who is a Bryant fireman was helping clean up the old cemetary when he came across the Kirkpatrick name. Knowing that was my maiden name he asked me about it. I knew Paisley was my grandfather's middle name.He died before I was born. I also had an aunt Elizabeth and great uncle Lemuel and my dad had a brother who died at birth named Lemuel. Evidently the names were kept in the family. Paisley's son Joeseph,& grandson John Paisley are buried in the Old Rosemont cemetary in Benton. J.P.'s son, Samuel is buried in New Rosemont. He is my dad and was born in 1914 and died in 1992. I contacted the developer Fred Briner and discovered the old house is where he grew up. That is why it has not been destroyed. His ancestory is from the Medlock clan!!YThe old cemetary has been cleaned off and a plaque is even there for Lemuel who was killed in the civil war at the age of 20.
