She had two kids: Thomas and Joseph. Joseph apparently wasn't called Joseph early in life (probably in deference to Joseph Cockman). Any info you might have would be appreciated. I'm interested in whatever I can find out about Betsie Melton (her maiden name was Daniel). I see the families were involved with eachother in Wayne County, TN (probating the estate of Thurm (or Theron) Melton. Any info would be apprecaited. I'm afraid that I don't have too much to contribute to the Cockman family line, but it is interesting that my great-great grandfather and Berry W. Cockmon always lived near eachother. Thanks.
