First, I found this marriage record on the Saline County website and was wondering if by chance anyone knows anything about this couple: LEWIS, Edward M. of Traskwood, Saline Co., AR age 21 and KELLER, Mary of Traskwood, Saline Co., AR age 18 married on May 18, 1890 by Menefee, J.J., MG surety bond by Torry, J.A. Bk. G., p. 77 I think this was very likely my great-grandfather's brother, Edward M. LEWIS, born 24 Jun 1869 in Knox County, OH, died 7 Feb 1937, who is in the family Bible. Does anybody know anything about these Lewises? Now to the second question...Right above the entry for Edward M. Lewis is this: LEWIS, Benjamin F. of Bryant, Saline Co., AR age 57 and PRESTON, Emily E., Mrs of Bryant, Saline Co., AR age 37 married on 16 Apr 1893 by Lewis, D.F., JP surety bond by Torry, John A. Bk. G., p. 406 I've been wondering if that could possibly be my great-great grandfather, Benjamin Franklin LEWIS, born 23 Oct 1827 in Mt. Vernon, OH , died 2 May 1894 somewhere. If so, he shaved about 10 years off his age, but I thought it was interesting that the bondsman was the same for both these records. I'd be very interested in any information about this Benjamin F. LEWIS. Finally, my grandmother's sister, Myrtie Irene LEWIS married Henry GOULD on 12 Feb 1912. They lived in Bauxite, AR. Are there any connections out there to Henry and Myrtie?
