He was born 1824 in Tennessee & married Sarah Jane Green (daughter of William & Ruth Loyd Green) Oct. 18, 1848 in Meigs County Tenn & moved to Saline Co. Ark. 1851. Where he homesteaded later became Garland Co. Their children were William Green, John Lewis, Ruth Caroline, Sarah Elizabeth, Salisa Jane, James M., Serena Ann, Nancy Rebecca, Thomas Lee, (My Grandpa), Robert Monroe, Adam, & Mary Susan. William & Sarah Jane are buried in Newkirk Cemetery, Garland Co. Ark. Thanks.
