Born Nov. 17, 1920, in Walnut Ridge, he was the son of Joseph Robert and Millie Morris Arnold. He was a retired co-owner of Arnold's Fireworks, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Forty-seventh Street Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Arnold; and a son, Robert Lewis Arnold. Survivors include four daughters, Betty Howard, Lynn, Charlene Allen, Maumelle, Sandy Keser, Chino, Calif., and Francine Brooks, Powell, Tenn.; a brother, Nathanel Arnold, Lady Lake, Fla.; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Funeral was Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Rest Hills Funeral Home with William Jaques officiating. Griffin Leggett Rest Hills of North Little Rock had charge of arrangements. Deacons of Forty-seventh Street Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Forty-seventh Street Baptist Church, 4700 Pike Ave., North Little Rock, AR 72118.
