Write to Sherryl Miller at PO Box 873, Lonoke, Arkansas 72086 outlining what you know and what you hope to find. She will go to the history commission and search. If she does or does not find anything, Sherryl still keeps a running record on it. She will notify you regardless of what is found. She is a whiz at the old records and well respected in our area having written at least three books. Just tell her Linda said to write. Sherryl usually received a donation to the museum building fund for her efforts. Currently the museum needs a new roof and this is her way of helping. In my way of thinking, she may be your best bet of finding out something. She has helped me lots and found things I could have never stumbled on. Good luck!
