Surnames: Goshen, Goshea, Shay Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/0V.2ADE/725.1 Message Board Post: I am searching for information on the family of Eliza Jane Goshea (Goshen) who took the Southern Trail from Arkansas to California in 1851. Her husband died in Tuscon, Arizona during the trip to California. One source says her husbands surname was Molifild. She continued on to El Monte, California where she became a cook and married Walter A, Shay. I believe she was a native of Arkansas and was born in 1829 in North or South Carolina. She died in San Bernardino, California in September 1869. Any leads on this family would be appreciate.
