If I were you, I would post this message also in the counties surrounding Pulaski. The reason he was born in Little Rock may be that his folks were from somewhere in Pulaski County. Or it could have been there was not a hospital where they lived and the parents went to Little Rock. If he was born at University or UAMS it is now called, it could have been a charity case back then so more than likely they came in from another part of the state. I know that was done a lot if the family had no money or any way to get their hands on any. It was right after WWII but this part of the country did not really start to develop until the late 50's. It is very possible his dad was in WWII. Just a lot of factors to consider, but I would post in surrounding counties as Little Rock as changed a lot in the last 50 years and a lot of folks have moved out. Good luck!
