Have no connection with this family. Hope this helps someone! Oma HODGE Oma Hodge, 93, passed away Dec. 28, 2005, at her daughter's home in Akron, Ohio. She was born near Somerset, Ky., on July 13, 1912, and lived in Akron for 69 years. She was a homemaker and handylady. She faithfully attended Grace Cathedral Church for 24 years. Preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1978, she is survived by daughters, Fae Koelker of Akron, Ohio and Janice Howes of San Diego, Calif.; sons, John Hodge of Akron and James Hodge of Naples, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. The funeral service was held January 3, 2006, at 11 a.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Ernest Angley officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Grace Cathedral, 2700 State Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 for the purchase of Bibles.
